Specialized Tactics & Rescue - S.T.A.R (3 Day)

Duration: 24 hours

Schedule: 0800-1700

Required Equipment:

• Handguns and carbines, magazines
• Ammunition
• Inert training guns (or breech blocks)
• Tactical training attire (vest, knee pads, eye/ear protection, hat)
• IFAK
  

Method of Instruction:

• Lecture (classroom)
• Live fire drills, handguns, and carbines (outdoor range)
•  Discussion
• Scenario-based skills training and evaluation, demonstration
• Videos/PowerPoint

Assessment: This course is not a graded course. However, training provider will ensure the student has a thorough comprehension of all learning objectives via assessment during training and After Action Report (AAR) upon completion of each training day.

Training facilities:

• Outdoor shooting range, up to 50 yards
• Classroom
• School bus
